Rob Heidrick is a graduate student at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. He has a strong interest in legal and social policies that affect the media and citizen journalists. In this site he keeps tabs on current developments that relate to the First Amendment - any issue involving the core freedoms of speech, religion, press, assembly and petition. The blog will present this information as neutrally as possible — but opinionated discussions are welcome and encouraged in the comment section. The site will often refer to other blogs covering similar topics, and the author welcomes comments from anyone who shares an interest.
